TEACH explores the historic role of grassroots education and community schools in the Deep South of the 1950s and 60s, that were an integral part of the Southern Freedom Struggle. Through the first person narratives of students, teachers and organizers, TEACH will also seek to contribute to the national dialogue about what we can dream about for universal education.

TEACH is being closely advised by an Advisory Committee of movement veterans, movement scholars and current-day organizers.
