Filmmaking partners Darcy McKinnon and Nailah Jefferson come to SDF this year to talk about collaboration, the long arc of making a documentary film, the challenges of living your values in the industry and bringing your vision to screens, all while maintaining a working relationship – and staying friends in the process! The filmmakers will share their experiences developing, funding, filming, finishing and bringing out their feature doc COMMUTED, in the context of the issues facing Southern filmmakers today.
