Vittles is a team of documentary filmmakers producing stories about the intersections of people and food. Culture, community and identity all revolve around our most essential need: the act of nourishing ourselves. Traditions and legends, excess and inequality, finely tuned senses and deep personal connections -- Vittles ventures to follow these threads and attend to the big questions hidden in every dish and recipe.

What does spinach have to do with desegregation? How did a pond of Asian prawns replace a Southern tobacco field? Can caring for chickens and ducks interrupt the dark memories of war?

Pass the biscuits! We also help coordinate community dinners and film screenings to share a delicious meal and seek out new stories.
