Childless by Choice: Love, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness explores the motivations and decision-making processes of couples who have chosen or are considering a “child-free life.” Filmmaker Laura Scott, nearing the end of her child-bearing years in an intentionally childless marriage, embarks on a North American journey of discovery to uncover why couples are opting out of parenthood and finds stories of love, stigma, vasectomies, and self-determination.

Now in development and early production, Childless by Choice will be a 56-minute documentary shot in mini-DV widescreen.
