Pass It On reflects on Reynolds Price’s 50 years of teaching English literature and writing at Duke University. Through the eyes of colleagues, former students, his peers, and with Price’s own voice, his vision and philosophy of teaching unfolds. Fresh interviews, aided by archival film and video footage and the realization of Price’s own fiction, demonstrate how Price’s creative work and pedagogical practice compliment each other in a result that is unique and valuable in among master writers.
