The Blue Ridge Documentary Series

Exploring the complexity and vitality of the Appalachian region of the United States, The Blue Ridge is a documentary series about the wild and wonderful people and places calling these ancient mountains home.

Inspired by David Holt’s Folkways, This American Life with Ira Glass, and Vice, The Blue Ridge will cultivate a deeper appreciation and understanding for our land, its people, forgotten traditions, good music, delicious food, and unique culture that truly matters to us all. It is a cinematic exploration of all things wild, weird, and wonderful throughout the Blue Ridge region from northern Georgia to Pennsylvania.

Jeremy Seifert is an award-winning documentary filmmaker best known for his feature films GMO OMG and DIVE! Living Off America’s Waste. His most recent feature film currently in production was selected as a Sundance Catalyst film.
