HOTEL CLERMONT documents the last days of a storied Atlanta hotel and the lives of its residents, who occupy the fringes of Atlanta society. Until it was officially shuttered in 2009, the Clermont Hotel and its infamous basement strip club were a refuge for the down-and-out. Some hit rock bottom when the economy tanked. Others just made a wrong turn. In the end, they all found a place to call home, whether for a day, a month, or a year. Meet the residents–and the people trying to keep the hotel alive–during its final days.
