In the heart of the modern opioid epidemic, a group of young men rebuild their lives in a farming-based rehab after years of drug abuse. Attempting to break the cycle of generational poverty and addiction, addicts attempt to reclaim their lives, their children’s futures, and mend broken relationships. They let go of painful pasts as they live in the present, tend to crops and animals, and build a new community. Recovery Boys details the struggles of facing addiction in a region with limited resources, and follows the lives of several men during, and after, rehab.
